Based in Hoddesdon, we cover the Lea Valley and wider Hertfordshire. That's towns within around 20 miles of us, reaching into London and the Home Counties, so we can usually reach a roof the same week we hear about it. Because we've worked this whole stretch of Hertfordshire since 1947, we already know most of the towns below well.
Our Core Towns
Because Bliss Roofing is based in Hoddesdon itself, these are the towns we reach fastest, often on the same day for anything urgent. We've been roofing this stretch of the Lea Valley since 1947. So we already know the local housing stock well — the Victorian terraces, the 1930s semis and the newer estates — and what each tends to need. So whichever of these towns you're in, we can usually tell you what to expect before we even arrive.
Cheshunt and Broxbourne sit right along the Lea Valley, so we see a lot of riverside cottages and post-war estates in both. Ware, meanwhile, is more of a genuine market town, with period buildings around the old malthouses that need traditional slate and clay tile work. Because we cover all four so often, we usually already know a street's roofing quirks before we've even had a look.
